Ayanda Notshweleka’s passion for rural development led him to establish a conglomerate of companies focusing on Construction, Mining, and Property Development, known as the Masakhane Group.
His educational background includes studies in Quantity Surveying, Project Management, and Property Development, which equipped him to navigate and overcome various challenges in these fields.
Hailing from the Eastern Cape (Transkei), a significant labor sending area for South Africa’s mining industry, Ayanda gained insights into the mining sector and its profound impact on workers and business owners, serving as pillars of the South African economy.
With extensive experience in the construction and mining sectors, Ayanda has actively contributed to policy reviews and developments, and has been involved in the implementation of various initiatives, collaborating with institutions such as the Master Builders Association (MBA) and the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB).
